...A night on the town - Stream of Thought...

People are, regardless of location, the same, in every way, ideal, and mental perception of existence. They are, without a doubt, flawed and ignorant; a childish continuance that mutates and regenerates, rarely reconciling it's own ill conceived behaviors, yet concretely instilled to follow a path of destruction, ego-fueled ignorance, and grasping at a retarded extension of the moment at hand.
Whether stimulated by alcoholic tenancies to dream up and live out bloated day dreams that flicker without talent into the evening, searching out a lustful companion for what may be no more than an evening, or to sadistically enrapture upon the moment, vicariously, disgusting one's self upon the glee that is of others.  We are all the same.
Be the city itself big, small; an event with audiences or a gathering amongst friends, we fail to, and always will, desire nothing more than what is instilled in these whimpers of ones' throng of singularity.  Grasp at fragile hope to be different for change, hoping that when we find ourselves, we will neglect those previous urges, cravings of flesh, liquid, or masochism. But the cycle of a single individualistic existence is only left in the day-dreamers mind, locked away into the sarcophagus that houses the remnants of being once a child.
Bastion of our wills that this proves wrong, if we venture out into the night, seeking a glazed mirror of reflection, triumphing in our psyche that this person before you is not who we really are; and we, the beings of sound mind, thought, perception, vision ourselves as being those deviators, the anarchists that strike out against the status quo, state "We are a valiant and contrasted persons.  We do not accept this which is before us, but we step outwards, breaking out from the granted scenario placed before our feet.  We are change in our world.  We are free."
As we stand fickle and shaken-minded on a stagnant business plan; one witness sees every molded vagrant wishing upon the masses a change harboring in themselves, cast out to others this sublimation upon them and stand aside.  The pigs will run to the troth, the wolves will retreat to the forest, and lemmings will dive from the hills.  Standing alone in the world, does the view upon the stool you stand, peering down upon the lakes of blood, mind you a decent view.

Tiddy Bear Infomercial...

Really?  This is what people are trying to get other people to buy?  Really?  At least it's not another extension of themselves so they can wipe their own ass...

*sigh*  Humanity...why?

My Top 10 Movies of 2010 - Part 1

2010 is almost come and gone and it's that time for everyone to round up their favorite films of the year and pit them in fights to the death so that one movie may come out as champion of the year.
People do that...right?
Anyways, I started compiling a list of the movies that I saw in 2010, and quickly realizing that I should probably maintain a "released in 2010" standard, I went through the holy grail of information, wikipedia, and picked out all the films released this year, and the ones I saw.  After about 10 minutes of scrolling through this list, I came to the realization that I haven't seen enough movies that were released this year to actually put together a top 10 list.  At least not a list worth noting.  Hell, I haven't even see The Social Network yet! But I have seen Splice...so...that's awesome...
Anyways, I'm just gonna give a quick little review or two of all the movies I've seen that were released this year...

Happy Feet Review (4 years in the making)

While the CG is absolutely incredible, and with a second film on the way, the look of the picture is sure to get more and more realistic.  Instead of portraying humans as goofy looking CG abominations they input actual footage of people into the roles.  The tap dancing provided by the always amazing Savion Glover, along with a multitude of performances from Robin Williams certainly adds to the appeal of the project.
Unfortunately, that is all this movie has going for it before it turns into an environmental propaganda mobile.
Fine, it's a kids film, trying to educate not only a younger generation about the dangers that man produces on an environment, but also, tries to show an older generation what could be done to help fix a major issue with wildlife and eventually man.  So it's an environmental kids propaganda film with Penguins.

Damned Facebook

I come to find that I post a lot of shit on Facebook for my friends to check out.  Granted, I think that some of the articles or some of the videos and whatnot are amusing and everything, and who but God knows who is watching what and reading what.  Does it even matter if anyone pays attention to what I post there?  Sometimes.  Every now and then I hit gold and stir up some talk about it, but most of the time, my desperate cries for attention through sharing my interests falls on deaf ears.  Then again, most of my audience is part of the "night-walker" sleep schedule type people.
So I started thinking, I was getting tired of not only just posting stuff on Facebook and watching all the fun information start shifting down the waterfall of status updates and quizzes to take of others "walls".  I wanted something that kind of was like a newspaper, where I could congregate all my links that I come across and "publish" so that others could get their daily dose of what I've been looking at.  I looked at paper.li and was interested, but didn't like the fact that I couldn't control what I was posting in the "paper".  I didn't want something automated, or congregated from my friends or followers.  I wanted me.  I want to share what I want to share, not what a computer decides upon.  Grr.
So, being the technologically aware, yet technologically inept mutagen that I am, I couldn't figure out how to produce something like that (but if anyone knows of something or somewhere I can go to produce a newspaper format "dumpage of links" like I'm talking about, please let me know).  I'm choosing to use this site here as something of a database of what I dump to Facebook.  As always, I don't know what is going to happen.  No one is going to visit and check out what I've got here, but *shrug* who knows what I might find...
